Here be Dragons!

Today we got to see the most amazing lizards in the world and they did not disappoint.

The island of Rinca itself is beautiful and the sail in was amazing. I got some shots of a needle fish doing a dance on the top of the water and a shot of a dugong (related to Manatee’s)

On the island itself it was only a few minutes until we saw dragons. While they seem lazy when they want to move they can move fast and no matter what anyone says they can climb trees, I have photos. The guide only has a forked stick for protection, but I guess it works

The deer and monkeys around did not seem concerned even though they are a favorite food. I guess they know the dragons only eat about once a month
